Foliage plant shipping may be via any of several specialized temperature-controlled truck lines. To most areas of the contiguous 48 states, the minimum order is equal to 100 cubic feet of space on a truck, which may be estimated, with the following rules of thumb:
  • 10 plants in 17” pots, or
  • 24 plants in 14” pots, or
  • 20 plants in 12” pots, or
  • 50 plants in 10” pots, or
  • 120 plants in 8” pots, or
  • 240 plants in 6” pots, or

a combination of the above that occupies the same space.
